Silver jewellery is my cup of tea.
Can be vintage, modern or classic... It can be combined with almost anything in terms of colours and clothes.
It can be very cute or elegant...
Although I like plain silver jewellery, I do love stones as well.

I love jewelry! My favorite is pearls, I have longed to find pearl rings! I also love silver chains with designed pendants! I prefer 16-18" necklaces instead of long even though long are the new fashion! glass or resin beads with gems or pearls always look gorgeous! I have never bought jewelry online! So far I just buy from stores like walmart or the mall or i get involved with jewelry shows like liasophia or premier designs and I buy some then!

You can either go to a jeweler and have the stones put in standard mounts (like rings or pendants), or you can get custom jewelry made. Option 1 is significantly less expensive.

That's gorgeous for her, I don't think the gem should matter as long as it's her favorite color and it's real.
it is all to do with quality colour clarity and size, for example diamonds per se are not really rare but large diamonds are, large size rubies and emeralds are rarer than large size diamonds, by large I mean 2 carats and above, it would take more time than I have to explain it all .
it symbolizes that you should choose your jewelry more carefully and not be so superstitious. Maybe you should consider the craftsmanship?
Try Ebay! I was able to find lots of loose gems on Ebay at a fraction of the price of what I would've paid at a bead or gem store.
