seeing as that she was born in January(Garnet) and I was born in February(Amethyst), I really think that it is a good representation of or relationship. I also don't believe that she is really picky, I think that it would look beautiful on her hand.

So two of the stones will be aquamarines and one will be green amethyst? If you surround the green amethyst with the aquamarines it should look fine.
It really depends on the jeweler. Some jewelers will only supply cheaper stones that are considered the same birthstones when they actually are not. For example:
November: Precious Topaz
December: Blue Zircon
With June and October…because these stones are not faceted, they don't work well mixed with other stones, so you will usually see Alexandrite for June and Pink Tourmaline for October.
