Buying my boyfriend a sterling silver amethyst rings?

Hey, I could use a little help. I'm buying my boyfriend a promise ring; he bought be a silver one with amethyst a while ago and I've wanted to for a while . Anyway, no matter what it is, I'm getting it engraved with the date we first started going out. I'm not sure which to get him though. I don't want to spend a lot, and sterling silver doesn't seem to be that expensive anyway. It has to be pretty basic because i know he won't wear it if it's fancy but I don't want it to be boring. What do you think about these or do you have any suggestions? Thanks
